Product Description

Field Selectable Input/Output Controller features universal field selectable outputs for the main control output. The main control output can be selected from a relay contact, a voltage pulse, or a 4 to 20 mAmp output.

Field Selectable Input/Output Controller also excepts 44 types of thermocouple, RTD, DC voltage and DC current. In addition these controllers can have 2 independent alarm contacts that are programmable to be deviation, process, or set value alarms. The Heater break alarms utilize an external current transformer that monitors the heater current and activates an alarm should the current fall below a threshold value that has been set by the operator. The loop break monitors and protects the entire temperature control system. The loop break alarm will detect Heater Breaks, Thermocouple or RTD failure, short circuits, or the failure of an operating device such as a mechanical relay, Mercury Relay or SSR.
